Some Christians give their main energies to the preaching of the gospel, and others to social action and involvement.  But for Jesus Christ there was no distinction. 

It is not just about telling people the words.

It begins with a big heart, as God himself has.  It is incarnational, living out our reality as Jesus did, and it is communicating the message in a way that people understand.

Let's keep prayer at the heart of all we do in 2009, to discover God's heart and to allow him to grow ours.

As our church mission statement states James declares that faith without deeds is worth little (James 2:14 ) Just as in worship, the love we feel for the Lord needs expressing actively, so also our love for Jesus spurs us to bless other communities outside the boundaries of the church.
