Pastoral Care

Our pastoral care is based upon the pattern in the passage from Ex 18 v 17-26 where Moses Father-in-law tells Moses that the task of pastoring the people is too much for one man and so he gives Moses the following advise;

 

v21 Select capable from all the people--men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

 

 

Carers hold responsibility for about ten people making sure they are cared and prayed for regularly.

These carers are cared for in turn by the group of fifty leader who may have four / five groups in their care.

They in turn are responsible to the Elders. The load is therefore shared adequately.
